Here you’ll find answers to common questions about visiting us, including consultations, patch testing, cancellations and salon policies. Whether you’re visiting us for a haircut, colour service or treatment, this page will help you prepare for your appointment at our Reading salon.

  • Consultations are free. Please contact the salon directly via the salon number for available days and times. We look forward to seeing you in the salon.

  • Bookings can be made via email, phone, Facebook, and on our Online Booking page. Please be aware when using Online Booking, if there is no availability for the selected time, it will automatically change the date to the next available slot at that time.

    Please note that we are cashless.

  • Yes. You need to have a skin test 48 hours before your appointment. This is to ensure your safety and should always be done. If no skin test has been carried out, we will have to reschedule your appointment.

  • There is a 48 hour cancellation policy in place. Please give notice of any cancellations or changes 48 hours prior to your appointment. This may result in a non-refundable deposit being taken for future appointments.

    No show or missed appointments with no prior warning will result in full payment being taken for all future appointments. This is non-refundable.

  • Bloc Hair is located in Reading town centre on Gun Street. The salon is just a two-minute walk from The Oracle, Holy Brook and Riverside car parks, making it easy to visit us for your appointment.
